  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour


  1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add flour; spread inot a 9 by 13 inch ungreased baking pan. Pierce lightly with fork upon removal from the oven. Cut into bars while still warm.
