A gorgeous side dish with intense red color and savory taste, serve these sautéed tomatoes and shallots cooked in dry white wine with grilled fish.


  • 6 shallots, quartered
  • 3 pints grape tomatoes
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons capers


  1. Add the tomatoes to the pan and sprinkle with a few pinches of salt and pepper. Sauté the mixture for 3 minutes and then pour in the wine; cook for an additional 4 minutes. Add the capers to the pan, stir to combine and then serve immediately.
