You will need the corn kernels from at least three husked corn cobs for this ultra simple, yet exceedingly elegant and flavorful side dish recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 6 sprigs fresh sage
- 1-1/2 cups fresh corn kernels (cut from about 3 ears)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Place the butter into a large sauté pan over medium heat. Once melted, add the sage and stir to combine. Cook the mixture for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the butter browns.
- Add the corn to the pan, stir well to coat with the butter and then sauté the mixture for 1 minute. Add a few pinches of salt and pepper to taste and then serve immediately.
