Sassy Ham Loaf with Mustard Sauce

A saucy ham, beef and pork meatloaf with a sweet and hot mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground ham
  • 8 ounces ground beef
  • 8 ounces ground pork
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Sassy Mustard Sauce:
  • 4 ounces dry mustard
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Mix together the first 8 ingredients. Shape into a loaf and arrange in a greased slow cooker. Cook covered for 6-7 hours on low.
  2. Combine the mustard and vinegar in a bowl, mix until smooth. Let set overnight.
  3. Combine the vinegar mixture, eggs and sugar in the top of a double boiler and heat for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool and store covered in a refrigerator.
  4. Serve the loaf with the sauce over top.
