Powdered sugar covered pecan cookies.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Soft together the flour, salt and baking powder.
  3. Cream together the butter, sugar and eggs. Mix with the flour and add in the vanilla. Mix until well combined. Stir in the pecans.
  4. Chill the dough. Once firm roll to 1/2 inch diameter and cut 1 inch thick.
  5. Bake until lightly browned then roll in the powdered sugar.
