Powdered sugar covered pecan cookies.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Soft together the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Cream together the butter, sugar and eggs. Mix with the flour and add in the vanilla. Mix until well combined. Stir in the pecans.
- Chill the dough. Once firm roll to 1/2 inch diameter and cut 1 inch thick.
- Bake until lightly browned then roll in the powdered sugar.
