Easy to whip up, Salsa Cruda is made in either the food processor or blender. 

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe tomatoes
  • 1 small stalk celery
  • 2 hot green chilies
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro

Directions

  1. Run all ingredients through blender or food processor, leaving tomatoes for last. Let sit for 4 hours to blend flavors.
