Serve this dish over biscuits or cornbread.
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup carrots
Directions
- Drain the liquid from salmon.
- Set liquid aside.
- Break salmon into large pieces.
- In a skillet saute onion in butter until wilted.
- Stir in flour, slat and pepper.
- Add milk a little at a time.
- Stir constantly until mixture is thick.
- Add vegetables, salmon and liquid.
- Heat.
- Serve ovr biscuits or cornbread.
