Add some Asian flair to your martini by blending Sake, a Japanese rice-based alcoholic beverage, with gin.


  • 2-1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/4 ounce sake
  • twist of lemon peel to garnish
  • 6 ice cubes


  1. Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Put the gin and the sake in a cocktail shaker, add the ice and stir or shake the mixture for 30 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and garnish with a twist of lemon peel; serve immediately.
