This light and frothy classic Flip cocktail combines the slightly spicy and fruity undertones of rye with hints of cardamom, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla flavor from the Benedictine.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1/2 ounce Benedictine
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
- egg
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 40 seconds.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then shake for an additional 40 seconds to chill.
- Strain into a cocktail glass and serve immediately.
