Using rum in this cocktail, instead of bourbon or brandy, gives this milk punch a rich and slightly spicy flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces light rum
- 2 ounces cold milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dark rum
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- grated nutmeg to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the nutmeg, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the grated nutmeg and then serve immediately.
