Round Swiss Steak

Simple stove top swiss steak, perfect served with mashed potatoes.


  • 2 pounds round steak
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes


  1. Flour the steak. Brown all sides in the oil. Remove the steak from the skillet and drain.
  2. Add 1 can of the tomatoes to the skillet. Place the steak on top and pour the over can of tomatoes over. Cover and simmer.
