Skillet cooked roudn steak.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds rounds steak
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cups tomatoes, cooked
- 1 1/4 cups water
Directions
- Slice the steaks lengthwise and place the bacon inside. Rub the seasonings into the steak.
- Brown the meat on both sides in melted butter in a skillet. Mix in the brown sugar, tomatoes and water. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
