A classic Rose Cocktail is given ‘thorns’ by substituting dry vermouth for vodka. The result is a more potent, yet equally as smooth concoction.
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce kirshwasser
- 1 teaspoon sirop de framboise ou de groseille
- Maraschino cherry
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the cherry, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the cherry and then serve immediately.
