A blend of scotch, Italian sweet vermouth and a few dashes of orange bitters and Pernod make this a somewhat complex yet light concoction with an appealing dusky orange color.


  • 1-1/2 ounces scotchv
  • 1/2 ounce Italian sweet vermouth
  • dash orange bitters
  • dash Pernod


  1. Put a cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass; serve immediately.
