The Rob Roy Cocktail is the scotch version of the Manhattan which is why it is occasionally dubbed the ‘Scotch Manhattan.’ Serve this elegant drink with a simple cherry garnish.
- 1-1/2 ounces Scotch
- 3/4 ounce sweet Vermouth
- Cherry for garnish
- Put a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place the scotch and the sweet vermouth into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then double strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the cherry and then serve immediately.
