Not only is butternut squash a great side dish for fall, but it's also easy to make!
- 2 medium butternut squash, halved lengthwise, seeds removed
- 4 teaspoons butter
- 4 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Place butternut squash halves on a large baking sheet flesh side up. Place 1 teaspoon butter in the middle of each squash. Sprinkle brown sugar and garlic over each squash. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Bake for 25 minutes until flesh is tender. You may want to split each serving in half depending on the size of your squash. Serve warm.
