Rhubarolo Cocktail

Ideally, use your own homemade rhubarb simple syrup for this cocktail. You can find the easy recipe on the SheKnows site.


  • 1 ounce rhubarb syrup
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 ounce Barolo Chinato
  • 1-3/4 ounces pisco
  • 1 tablespoon egg white
  • 1 dash Tiki bitters
  • Grapefruit peels


  1. Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Place all of the ingredients, except for grapefruit peels, into a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 30 seconds to combine.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail glass and then twist the grapefruit peel over the drink to release its natural oils. Discard the peel and then serve immediately.
