Adding Campari to this gin and cherry brandy cocktail provides it with hints of quinine, rhubarb, ginseng and orange peel flavor and aroma, as well as a slight herbal undertone.
- 3 ounces gin
- 1 ounce cherry brandy
- 1/2 ounce Campari
- Cherry to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then stir the mixture for 30 seconds to chill.
- Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the cherry, and then serve immediately.
