This sparkling and frothy cocktail is made with champagne and Kriek; a Belgian beer made by fermenting lambic with sour Morello cherries.


  • Kriek, chilled
  • Champagne (or another dry sparkling wine), chilled


  1. Pre-chill a Pilsner glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Slowly and simultaneously pour equal amounts of champagne and Kriek into the prepared glass; serve immediately.
