Serve Quick Cooked Salad Dressing over fresh mixed salad greens.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a heavy saucepan, beat egg well. Mix oil, vinegar and water together. Mix sugar, dry mustard and salt. Add dry mixture to liquids.
- Add oil mixture to beaten egg, slowly beating. Cool over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Cool.
