A quick and simple baked grit breakfast.


  • 2 cups quick-cooking grits
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 eggs, beaten


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add the grits to 4 cups of water and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the milk and butter. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs.
  3. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
