Fall is the time of year when we start thinking about stick to your ribs comfort foods for ourselves and our families. Imagine a delicious pan of Shepard's Pie awaiting your family on a busy weeknight. This is the quick and easy meal for you.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground meat
- 2 cups hot mashed potatoes
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (divided)
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 cups frozen mixed vegetables (thawed)
- 1 cup beef gravy
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Brown ground meat in large frying pan
- Combine potatoes, cream cheese, half of the cheddar cheese and garlic in a medium bowl
- Add vegetables and gravy to meat then place in a prepared square baking dish
- "Frost" with potato mixture then sprinkle on remaining cheddar cheese
- Bake for 20 minutes or until heated
