Combining the mellow taste of Canadian whiskey with rich and sweet maple syrup has become an iconic Canadian blend.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Canadian whisky
- 1/2 ounce maple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh apple juice
- 3 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1/6 of a fresh lemon
- Lemon wedge
Directions
- Place a cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place the lemon wedge and apple juice into a cocktail shaker and muddle well. Add the remaining ingredients to the shaker and then fill with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into the prepared cocktail glass; serve immediately.
