Pumpkin squash bread is a great pumpkin bread recipe for fall.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup cooked acorn or butternut squash
  • 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 2 cups sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and grease two 9X5 inch loaf pans.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Mix all remaining ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Gradually add in the dry ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour evenly into loaf pans and bake for one hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow bread to cool before moving to wire rack.
