Pumpkin squash bread is a great pumpkin bread recipe for fall.
Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cups canned pumpkin
- 1 cup cooked acorn or butternut squash
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 2 cups sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F and grease two 9X5 inch loaf pans.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Mix all remaining ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Gradually add in the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pour evenly into loaf pans and bake for one hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow bread to cool before moving to wire rack.
