Simple and sweet pecan shortbread squares.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup ground pecans
- Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat on medium until fluffy. Add in the flour and pecans.
- Press into the botom of a greased and floured 10x15-inch pan. Score the dough into 2-inch squares. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- Break into squares once cooled.
