Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 cups water
- 2 small cans sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
- Melt butter in a skillet.
- Saute' onions and celery in the skillet.
- Remove from heat.
- Add flour, salt and pepper.
- Place in crock pot.
- Add water, potatoes, mushrooms, and carrots.
- Cover and Cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Turn to high.
- Add milk and cheese and cook another 30 minutes.
