A Pot Roast that makes a delicious gravy right in the pot.  How easy could it be?  Make some mashed potatoes and a green salad and get ready to dig in. 

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound beef rump roast
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon basil

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large baking pan. Add roast.
  2. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
