No one can resist Popovers hot and steamy from the oven.  A perfect little carrier for butter and jam.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Beat eggs slightly. Add flour, salt and milk and beat very little. Add butter. Put in cold oven in pyrex custard cups on cookie sheet. Bake one hour at 375 degrees F.
