Pop Corn Balls are a classic, fun to make family treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/3 cup butter
- pecans or peanuts
- popped corn
- 1/3 cup white corn syrup
- 1/3 cup hot water
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Cook sugar, syrup, butter, cream of tartar, water and pinch of salt to hard ball stage. Add pecans/peanuts to popped corn. Salt corn and nuts very lightly. Pour syrup mixture over mixture and shape into balls.
