Fennel adds a subtly flavor to Snapper.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 pounds of red snapper
Directions
- Combine water, juice from the lemon, fennel seeds and bay leaf in a oval roaster.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add red snappers.
- Return to a boil, reduce the heat.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove snapper from pan with a spatula and serve.
