This is a fast way to poach eggs.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 4 eggs

Directions

  1. Place 2 tablespoons water in 4 individual custard cups.
  2. Add 1/4 teaspoon vinegar to each.
  3. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until water is boiling.
  4. Gently place one egg into each cup.
  5. Pierce each yok with a sharp toothpick.
  6. Cover the cups with heavy plastic wrap and arrange cups in a circle on a microwave safe platter.
  7. Microwave on medium high for 2 to 3 minutes or until white is opaque.
  8. Let eggs stand for 2 to 3 minutes to continue cooking.
