Buttery cornmeal spoon bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 3 cups milk, divided
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine the cornmeal and 2 cups of milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add in the milk and eggs. Stir in the salt, baking powder and butter.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
