These soft muffins can be topped with butter, cream cheese or jam.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; set aside.
  2. Beat eggs, milk and butter.
  3. Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
  4. Pour batter into greased muffin tins.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
