Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 cup uncooked regular rice
- 3/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
Directions
- Combine the onion, water and broth in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil
- Stir in rice, curry powder and garlic powder.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
- Add pineapple to rice and cook an additional 5 minutes.
