The pineapple in this marinade for pork or chicken not only adds sweetness, but helps tenderize the meat as well.


  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered cloves


  1. Place all of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix together with a whisk until thoroughly blended.
  2. Store in an airtight container for up to 8 days in the refrigerator until use.
