If you don't care for tomato sauce try the pesto with your pasta.
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup pine nuts
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredient in a blender and mix on medium until blended into a sauce.
- Toss with your pasta.
- Heat the sauce in the microwave if you want it heated before tossing it in the pasta.
