Pecan Kisses are light meringue cookies that melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites, room temperature
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Add salt to egg whites, beat until eggs start to foam. Add cream of tartar and beat until they hold peaks. Add sugar gradually, 2 tablespoons at a time, continue beating until stiff.
- Mix flour with chopped pecans and fold into egg whites. Add vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes.
