This delicious salad serves well at potlucks, picnics or summer barbecues.
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 8 cups baby spinach
- 2 pears, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Mix together canola oil, honey, vinegar and cilantro.
- In a large salad bowl, toss spinach, cheese and pears. Add dressing, mixing until thoroughly blended. Garnish with pecans prior to serving.
