This spiced bread makes an excellent breakfast or afternoon snack. Consider baking a loaf to share with friends and family during the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 cups canned pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Beat together sugar, pumpkin, eggs, vegetable oil, water and peanut butter.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Blend flour combination into pumpkin mixture.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
