Quick and simple creamy oyster soup.


  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pint oysters, undrained
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Simmer the oysters and liquid in melted butter in a large saucepan until they begin to curl. Stir in the remaining ingredients and heat until hot, mixing constantly.
