Baked pot roast with a mushroom onion gravy.
Ingredients
- 4-5 pounds pot roast
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Coat a baking pan with foil and place the roast in the center. Sprinkle the dry onion soup over. Pour the soup over. Wrap the foil up and around the roast, leaving a gap above the roast, and seal the edges.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes per pound.
