Oven Caramel Corn is ready in an hour. Can your family wait that long?
Ingredients
- 9 quarts popped corn
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Boil all ingredients except corn and soda for 5 minutes. Mix well, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add soda and stir in quickly. Pour in popped corn, mixing well.
- Pour onto 2 large baking pans. Bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour. Stir 3 times. Seal in tight containers.
