Oven Caramel Corn is ready in an hour.  Can your family wait that long?

Ingredients

  • 9 quarts popped corn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Boil all ingredients except corn and soda for 5 minutes. Mix well, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add soda and stir in quickly. Pour in popped corn, mixing well.
  2. Pour onto 2 large baking pans. Bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour. Stir 3 times. Seal in tight containers.
