Orange Bread is buttery and delicious.
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried orange rind
- 1 loaf Pepperidge Farm, thin sliced white bread
- Remove crusts from bread. Thoroughly cream margarine, sugar and orange rind. Spread liberally on bread. Cut into fingers; place on 2 cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour.
- Turn off oven and let stand to get thoroughly crisp.
