Simple onion custard side dish.
- 4-6 medium mild onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- Add the butter to a skillet and saute the onions for 30 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Beat together the milk and eggs. Add in the onions. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-50 minutes, or until lightly browned.
