Delicious, simple divinity candy with chopped nuts.
Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Directions
- Bring the corn syrup to a boil in a saucepan, until it reaches 255 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Beat the egg whites and slowly add to the syrup. Beat until the mixture has lost its gloss.
- Stir in the extract and nuts. Use a teaspoon to drop onto wax paper.
