Crushed cracking and cornmeal bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white cornmeal
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed cracklings
  • Oil

Directions

  1. Mix together the cornmeal, water and salt. Stir in the cracklings until well combined. Shape into cakes.
  2. Fry in a little hot oil until browned on both sides.
