Old Fashioned Sour Cream Cookies will be a scrumptious addition to your cookie tray.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. Mix first 4 ingredients. Measure flour after sifting. Blend dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternatively with sour cream.
  2. Divide dough, roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with sugar and cut out. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
