This sweet and smooth cocktail is referred to in Judge Jr.’s Prohibition era publication, “Here’s How,” and is said to have been created by Henry Oretel.

Ingredients

1 ounce Benedictine
1 ounce Whiskey
1/3 cold Ginger Ale

Directions

Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
