Light rum acts as the perfect spicy and rich base for this sweet, fruity and slightly tart cocktail made with Cointreau and fresh lime juice.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces light rum
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/4 ounce sugar syrup
- Slice of lime to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the lime slice, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then double strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the lime slice and then serve immediately.
