This attractive and delicious pre-dinner drink combines Mezcal, a Mexican spirit derived from the agave plant, and Pimm’s No. 1, a popular gin-based English liqueur made with fruit juices and spices.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces mezcal
- 1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Lemon peel to garnish
Directions
- Place a cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Put all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and stir the mixture for 35 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, garnish with the lemon peel and serve immediately.
